Training Product Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of training courses related to automation products within PCP (Process Control Platform) globally. You will be part of an exciting journey, where our Automation products are transforming with the adoption of new technologies and our training offering is evolving with modern digital learning tools. You will work in a global product sales enablement team around the world, and you will collaborate with other functions like product management, product marketing and R&D. You will engage with subject matter experts to create accurate and appealing product training. Your experience with automation products and with the learning and development field are very important to ensure the creation of effective and valuable training for our learners.

Your responsibilities

  • Owning a portfolio of courses related to PCP automation products, including Instructor-Led training (classroom or virtual), eLearning and webinar.
  • Leading the design of new courses, collaborating with subject matter experts, applying instructional design principles.
  • When applicable, taking an active part in training content development and performing technical reviews of content
  • developed by others.
  • Working internally with product management and marketing management to identify training requirements and translating them into training plans.
  • Assigning training developers from Operational Centers and supervising the execution of the plans, ensuring on time and on quality releases.
  • Leading product training portfolio life cycle process, making decisions on course obsolescence based on product evolution and training metrics.
  • Informing all relevant stakeholders of new and updated training programs, maintaining updated training web pages and other internal training repositories.
  • Leading the design of new courses, collaborating with subject matter experts, applying instructional design principles.
  • When applicable, taking an active part in training content development and performing technical reviews of content developed by others.
  • Identifying and executing projects for process and portfolio improvements.

Your background

  • At least 5 years of experience in the Process Automation field, particularly on Distributed Control Systems and Edge solutions.
  • Basic technical knowledge about all PCP products and especially about System 800xA, Symphony Plus, Freelance, Edgenius.
  • Experience in product training design, development and delivery
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design principles and Learning Management Systems administration are a plus.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Leadership, good communication skills, intercultural and cross functions collaboration, curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
