VIKING’s Global Finance Department comprises 80+ dedicated colleagues, located in Denmark and in Global Business Service, Finance in Bulgaria. We are overall responsible for VIKING’s financial reporting, using SAP as our major ERP platform.
We have an ambitious business plan, and right now, we are looking for an Accountant to join our team.
Based at our office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria you will report to the Finance Manager and be involved in aspects of accounting associated with the vendor transactions for VIKING entities across the globe.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work both independently and in cooperation with others. Following tasks can be expected:
- Process all Vendor invoices & Travel expenses of a VIKING subsidiary
- Follow up on timely approval of Vendor Invoices, according to internal approval policy
- Perform mass payments to Vendors, according to internal payment policy
- Communicate and resolve disputes, according to internal policy
- Perform Cash reconciliation, Intercompany reconciliations, VAT reconciliation, Assets reconciliation and other various reconciliations of the Group’s General ledger
- Communicate and resolve Non billed orders to company stakeholders
- Take part in Month end and Annual reporting, using the Group’s internal reporting package
- Take part in Interim and Year end Audit process
Your profile
The successful candidate has at least 1 year of professional experience in accounting. Furthermore:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- MS Office advanced user
- Experienced with SAP is considered as an advantage
You will work closely with other departments and colleagues, therefore you are great at communication and working across the organization. On a personal level we expect you to be responsive and positive, with a ''can do'' attitude, detail oriented and precise team player.
Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
