Your position
In this role, you'll be an essential member of our engineering team, providing crucial support to process engineers. Your tasks will include detailed piping calculations, technical design assistance, and ensuring the integrity of our systems. You'll play a key role in driving project success and advancing our position in the energy industry.
Location: Your workplace will be at one of Semco's offices in either Denmark - Poland - UK or Norway. The position is full-time and 20-40 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Piping Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the analysis, integrity, efficiency, and safety of piping systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Perform pipe stress analysis for execution projects and studies.
- Piping calculations
- Prepare documentation of executed pipe stress analysis (pipe stress isometrics, reports, etc.)
- Piping Specification
- Quality check of discipline deliverables
- PED directive
- EN13480 (piping)
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing and positive Piping Engineer who is passionate about engineering and wants to leave their mark on the global energy industry. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to drive innovation and excellence in piping design and calculations.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Relevant Engineering/technical degree
- 5+ years in piping design
- Knowledge of relevant regulations / standards / procedures, preferably in Norway
- 3D modelling of piping systems (PDMS/E3D/Navisworks/Caesar II)
- ASME / Norsok piping standards
- Preferably understand Norwegian - Fluent in English
