We are looking for a Communications & Public Affairs Lead based in Odense to be a close sparring partner to management in establishing our new future manufacturing site in Tietgenbyen, Odense. The Position
As a Communications & Public Affairs Lead based in Odense, your main focus will be to establish the new future site in Tietgenbyen. You will report to the Head of Site Tietgenbyen and be part of the Management team to whom you will be an important strategic sparring partner. You must understand the business priorities and translate strategy into relevant and impactful Communications and Public Affairs actions, which include driving:
• Strategy and execution of external communications, employer branding, external relations, and public affairs
• Strategic partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g. educational institutions) to support the business strategy
• Internal communication strategy and execution, supporting all internal communication processes related to the site.

You will work closely with communications colleagues and executive support functions in Fill & Finish Expansions as well as in Novo Nordisk Head Quarter functions. We expect you to be a strong team player, who enjoys executing with short deadlines as well as being responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives and events. Furthermore, you will be a key player in shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way

Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor within Communication, journalism or business management, Master is preferred
• 8+ years of work experience in Communications and Public Affairs, preferably within a large, international environment
• Experience in navigating a complex stakeholder environment, preferably from an international organisation
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of employer branding strategies is preferred

As a person, you have an independent, responsible, and result-oriented way of working and approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity, and a positive attitude. You have a strong business understanding and high ambitions on delivering high quality communication solutions. You are constructive and full of initiative and thrive in a challenging and busy environment with ambitious people. Furthermore, you have excellent collaboration skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders but can also work independently towards reaching strong business results.

About the department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT), which globally employ approximately 28,500 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.

As the Communications & Public Affairs Lead based at Site Tietgenbyen, you will be a key player in establishing Novo Nordisk’s new future site in Odense. You will work closely with the Site Head and the Management team to shape the future of the site and build positive relationships with external stakeholders. The position offers a high level of influence and room for own initiatives and ideas.
