The Position
As Senior Procurement & Contract Manager, you will occupy a key role in the Program Management Office. Reporting to the Programme Procurement Director of the Fill-Finish Expansion Programme (FFEx), you will be primarily responsible for driving world-class Contract Management in multiple CAPEX contracts across numerous countries and sites.
This role calls for a collaborative and engaging mind-set as you will be interacting with multiple existing central procurement organisations within Novo Nordisk, as well as establishing good working relations with the Site Project Management Offices and the various external Contractors with whom you will be dealing.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Effective Contract Management within the FFEx Procurement Strategy.
  • Implementation, management of professional sourcing and procurement methodologies with delivery of support as required.
  • The proactive and early identification of project risk through the effective management of schedule, cost and design scope impact.
  • Developing and maintaining the FFEx Procurement and Contract Management Strategy.
  • Taking ownership of the successful delivery of the Contracts within your field of responsibility.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a Project Procurement or Contract Manager role, preferably within large CAPEX projects.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage contractual deliverables.
  • Experience in engaging with muti-disciplinary teams including finance, Engineering and Procurement.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing contract cost schedules, change order management, liquidated damages management.
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships with internal departments and with external Contractors.
  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be considered advantageous.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology.
