The Position
As a technical supporter, you will ensure that the equipment in Washing and Sterilization works optimally and that production is carried out according to specified requirements and according to the production plan.

The main tasks will be:

• Technical support for the area
• Maintenance optimization
• Capacity expansions
• Troubleshooting
• Problem solving in case of stop/breakdown.

In addition, a large part of the job will consist of preparing A3s (systematic problem solving), improving maintenance, validating, and implementing improvements. There are great opportunities for development in this job, and you can help create the best framework yourself.

In this position, you will need both your practical and theoretical skills to deal with the challenges you face. It is thus a unique opportunity to live out and develop your skills in handling technical equipment.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you have:

• Educational background as a marine engineer, engineer or other relevant technical education
• Interest and flair for many different technical plants
• Experience with GMP production will be an advantage
• Experience with and desire to optimize processes as well as to acquire knowledge and technical knowledge in new fields
• Fluency in both written and oral English, and Danish language skills are an advantage.

About the Department
The department is part of Biopharm Finished Products (FP) in Kalundborg. We manufacture pharmaceutical products that help people with chronic conditions such as hemophilia and growth hormone deficiency. Washing & Sterilization is responsible for supplying washed and sterilized capsules, pistons, tanks and all other equipment for the other process steps. You will be part of a dedicated department consisting of operators, craftsmen and supporters, who all work closely together across professional boundaries and the other departments.

The team itself consists of 13 employees – including 10 craftsmen who maintain our equipment and 3 supporters (where you will be one) who handle everything from daily support to the craftsmen and operators in production to validation of our equipment and processes. We love professional challenges, work very independently with great individual responsibility and high commitment, we have many interfaces around the organization and we juggle many balls in the air at a time.
