Head of Enterprise Process Management

This role is critical to Hempel’s transformation journey and pursuit of scalability

As the Head of Enterprise Process Management, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our business processes and optimising organisational performance. You will work closely with our Strategy, Transformation & Information leadership team and will be responsible for designing and improving our enterprise wide processes so as to enhance productivity, quality and support scalability.

This position will through its influence on the global Business Process Owner Council, have ownership of the process estate. The ability to decide the way Hempel improves processes, is an outstanding opportunity to direct Hempel’s pursuit of scalability and becoming an industry winning enterprise. Our recent change from a distributed entrepreneurial company to a globalised synergistic company has given us the opportunity to harvest substantial value through global process harmonisation and automation, which we will enable through this role

In this role you will need to

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise process management strategy & framework which is aligned with Hempel’s objectives and values.
• Ensure the process model, maps and database is continuously updated and is understood and adhered to throughout Hempel
• Develop and implement the standard for the BPO council governance and monitor KPIs to ensure process performance and improvement is on track.
• Guide the project managers who develop and implement new and improved end to end processes in the company in how to work appropriately and an aligned manner with the process landscape
• Oversee training programs through collaboration with P&C learning and development
• Work closely together with the Transformation Program office to help prioritise and sequence the overall execution of our Scalable Operations strategic leg.
• Drive a culture of continuous process improvement and innovation by promoting best practices and knowledge sharing across the organisation.

The successful candidates

The ideal candidate for this role would need to have a proven track record of business process optimisation in a global, matrix organisation. In addition to solid work experience, we value collaboration and this is something that comes easy to you. And that it comes with a positive attitude and genuine care for the people around you without losing the focus on the end goal.

Qualifications and skills:

• 5-7 years experience in process work and process landscaping
• Experience in process optimisation in a project setting
• Formalised training in process optimisation (Lean, six sigma or the like)
• Good understanding of process mining and process optimisation

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experienced and highly capable of influencing a diverse group of stakeholders through ambiguity, change and discovery through informal leadership
• Excellent collaboration and networking skills
• Passion and patience to work out cross-functionally
• Independent , self-starter, highly-motivated
• Capable of engaging teams through data-driven conversations supported by the right tools
• Global culture savvy
• Service minded
