VIKING’s Global Business Services is operating to support VIKING entities across the globe. Right now, VIKING is strengthening the Procurement & Global Planning team in Bulgaria. We are looking for Purchaser, Procurement & Global Planning who will contribute to the important work we do, in having the responsibility to secure the right material availability and inventory levels, using SAP as our major ERP platform.
Based at our office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria you will report to the Global Procurement Manager and be involved in everyday tasks and projects bringing a dynamic and interesting workday.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work both independently and in cooperation with others. The following tasks and projects can be expected:
- Purchasing, planning and requisitions follow up of production materials
- Collaborate closely with Strategic Sourcing and Logistics departments
- Execute international purchases
- Track the status of deliveries and coordinates with internal departments to ensure receipt
- Active communication with suppliers, internal clients and other parties on daily business
- Blocked invoices resolution
- Determine and secure the right inventory, ABC-categories and safety stock
Your profile
The successful candidate:
- Has previous experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material-handling, planning and optimizing logistical processes
- Has university degree in Logistics, Economics or other related discipline
- Has knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferably)
- Is a responsive team player
- Has customer oriented working approach
You will work closely with other departments and colleagues, therefore you need to be good communicator and has collaboration skills. On a personal level you are analytical thinker, self – motivated, positive and precise.
Since our corporate language is English, you have very good English skills – both written and orally.
