We are looking for ILS Engineers, highly organized and detail-oriented, to join our team to support our client Spaceopal in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the operational infrastructure of the Galileo ground infrastructure e.g. support local L1 maintenance teams on ILS issues, follow-up logistics aspects and documentation needs.The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Operations Support tasks focus on the availability of spares and support items to ensure sustainable operations. The focus lies on the management of the repair and replenishment processes of spares and consumables within the Galileo Programme.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Acting as prime ILS Point of Contact for the Repair Function within the GSOp ILS and CADM organization
• Supporting the replenishment of the Spares and consumables required by the System.
• Liaising with and support local Maintenance Teams with regard to the ILS/CM interface
• Liaising and interface with local Hosting Entities with regard to PHS&T tasks
• Providing ILS / CM inputs to inquiries and reports
• Supporting configuration audits / inspections for verifying correctness/accuracy of maintained configuration status
• Maintaining and update Asset status information in central tools
• Participating to GSOp internal Meetings, support GSOp ILS/CM reporting tasks with inputs gathered locally and via central tools
• Participating to GSOp external ILS/CM meetings in order to coordinate with external parties ILS and Configuration Management aspects
• Contributing to ILS/CM engineering and analysis tasks in the frame of the continuous improvement process and event driven evolutions
• Contributing to reviews of data packs received from infrastructure provider in the frame of new releases/evolutions.
You should have the following qualifications:
• A degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Informatics/Aerospace Engineering with at least 2 years of work experience. Alternatively, 5+ years related work experience
• A good technical background/experience on the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) disciplines and tasks
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Fluency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.)
• Hands-on mentality and systematic, self-organized, able to prioritize way of working
• EU citizenship is necessary
This is a full-time position to be located at Spaceopal headquarter (Munich, Germany), with the planned start date as soon as possible.
Participation to meetings in other relevant project locations in Europe is foreseen.
