Georg Jensen invites applications for a 1-year parental cover for the role of a global Social Media Manager. In this dynamic position, you will be executing on our newly developed global organic social media strategy, driving community expansion, and fortifying brand resonance across our diverse platforms. We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of the social media landscape as well as someone with an analytical mindset and a creative eye. And if you know the ins and outs of luxury brands, it’s definitely a plus.

Based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark , this pivotal role entails further developing, implementing, and overseeing our global social media strategy, ensuring alignment with our overarching company and brand objectives. Besides executing and implementing the global social media strategy, you will also be responsible for monitoring and measuring the success of our campaigns and activations, content performance, as well as monthly KPI’s. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a strong follower relationship through excellent community management.

Joining the Brand Marketing Team within our Georg Jensen Business Unit (BU), you will report directly to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing. This full-time position offers flexibility in work arrangements, including options for both in-office and hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute, implement and continuously refine our global social media strategy, aligning it closely with the overarching business objectives
  • Strategically orchestrate the social media & editorial calendar, ensuring seamless integration with broader marketing initiatives across the organization
  • Champion the social media process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive campaigns and initiatives
  • Effectively communicate social media strategy, plans, and deliverables to key stakeholders at all levels, fostering alignment and buy-in across the organization
  • Spearhead and maintain a robust framework for community management and engagement across all global social media channels, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging
  • Oversee the selection, onboarding, and management of social media agencies, where applicable, fostering productive partnerships and maximizing resources for optimal results
  • Ensure adherence to global Social Media Policy guidelines in all regions
  • Drive and act as point of contact for potential external content creators and other freelancers related to SoMe content development in close collaboration with brand and creative teams
  • Conduct thorough KPI tracking and analysis, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making and refine tactics for enhanced performance and engagement

  • In the know: You are native across all socials, naturally interested in knowing about, pursuing and truly understanding recent social media trends, possibilities, and technological developments to always keep at the forefront of your field

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities
  • Expertise in social media management, ideally within a global brand context
  • Luxury or premium industry experience within interior design, fashion, jewellery or similar considered a big plus
  • Genuine passion for social media, brand building, and compelling storytelling

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English, our working language
  • Proficiency in Danish is advantageous

Education:
Minimum bachelor’s degree
