Ensure operational security on our global platforms
In the position of Platform Operations Engineer, you will assist our Supporters and Software Developers in troubleshooting and operational security on our global platforms. You will ensure the operation of our applications, services, and infrastructure of our mobile reading platform and the associated platforms with your colleagues. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of ongoing releases and updates of the existing applications hosted on our Kubernetes platform.
More specifically you will be:
- Operating Helm charts, Flux, and Velero backup
- Be responsible for role-based Access Control, Authentication, and Authorization mechanisms
- Developing in DevOps tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, GitHub Enterprise, and other CNCF-related tools
- Ensuring logging of event data analysis and data streaming tools like OpenSearch, Kafka and RedPanda

With a direct reference to our Head of Hosting HCW, you will become a part of our 3rd level operations department consisting of 8 experienced colleagues located in Denmark and the US. Together we manage the installation, configuration, service, and operations of the IT solutions to Kamstrup’s customers. In the team, you will work closely with a group of dedicated Technicians who highly value collaboration and an informal tone.
Did you know? Despite the geographic distance of more than 7.000 kilometers, the team connects every day and meet up twice a year in Denmark for a couple of weeks.

We are looking for an ambitious Platform Operations Engineer who is driven by the desire to deliver the best IT solutions. You are a natural team player, and you value sparring and knowledge sharing, which helps you see new approaches and trends in your work, which you are open to explore and understand.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have about 5 years of experience with cloud IT in a large-scale operation
- Have experience with Azure, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Kafka and RedPanda
- Are outgoing and can create and maintain relationships both with your nearest colleagues but also with stakeholders outside the organization
- Are naturally structured and analytical in your approach to work
