Your Responsibilities
As Senior Manager, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of Managers, IT Operations Specialists and Project Consultants, ensuring a high-performance culture
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with global partners
- Drive innovation through improvements, automation, and process optimization
- Oversee team performance and ensure efficient resource management, goal-setting, and project execution
- Listen to team feedback, resolve issues, and maintain a positive team environment
- Report on performance metrics and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs
- Foster seamless collaboration with Aeven’s global delivery centers in Denmark, Hungary and the Philippines
- Partner with HR to support performance management, retention, and organizational growth
Your team:
You will lead a global team currently consisting of 20 talented professionals, with plans to grow to 25+ within a year as well as take on indirect management of other teams in the CEE region. This diverse team operates across different time zones, collaborating through digital channels and working closely to deliver outstanding network services. You’ll be a key part of an environment that values teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications And Experience
Competencies
- Proven experience in network service operations delivery
- Good understanding of network technologies (e.g., SDN, DNAC, ISE, ACI, SDWAN, Routing & Switching, Meraki, Firepower, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Familiarity with IT Operations, IT Outsourcing, and relevant business metrics
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies
Leadership Skills:
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate, engage, and connect with team members
- Experience in planning resources and managing schedules, including 24/7 duty rosters
- Ability to manage high-priority incidents and maintain a calm, proactive approach
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, open-minded attitude
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and manage project stakeholders effectively
- A proactive approach to fostering smooth cooperation and addressing team feedback
