In this role you will act as people line manager responsible for two software development teams in Västerås, Sweden. You will be actively involved with the teams providing support, encouragement, and delivering positive and constructive feedback, while applying a coaching and visionary leadership. You will be developing the organization by identifying and developing talents in the teams and will also be an important agent of changes in the organization. As a result, you have impact on organizational productivity and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities in the role: • Line management responsibility for two growing software development teams in Sweden • Recruiting and hiring new talents • Developing the individuals and teams • Providing coaching and performance feedback to all team members • Communicating and ensuring understanding of functional and departmental goals • Identifying and implementing improvements and innovations • Engaging and coordinating with other line managers across the organization • Identifying competency gaps and ensuring employees have the necessary training to per-form their job • Ensuring continuous improvement and drive process development for software development • Evaluating overall team and individual performance
Qualifications for the role
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field
- You have 5+ years of experience in technical management, leading teams within R&D/IT/Tech as Team leader or Line Manager
- You have proven experience of driving organizational change in global environments
- You have professional experience with Agile principles and Scrum and are used to working with sprints, backlogs, Scrum Masters and Product Owners
- You are a team player, a fast learner, and are willing to work in a team spreading different coun-tries and technologies
- You have sound knowledge of software design and the Process Automation market
- You have practical experience of working with team members from different cultures and geo-graphical locations
- You have great verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
