About the role
As a Site HSE Coordinator (AMK-P), you will be a part of a small, dedicated Site HSE-management team that are responsible for embedding safety considerations from the design phase and adapting them throughout the construction and commissioning stages.
Your key responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams, coordinating safety efforts, assessing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all project phases. This includes creating and maintaining the Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP), conducting risk assessments, and facilitating safety solutions in collaboration with design, construction, and project management teams.
You will manage the Health and Safety Journal, ensuring it reflects all safety adjustments and will be essential for future maintenance needs. Your role also involves performing safety and constructability reviews to identify and mitigate potential hazards, aligning with safety protocols onsite, and representing the client’s safety interests throughout the project.
Your main location will be at our office in Virum, but you shall be prepared to attend in projects on locations where NNE has projects in Denmark including Kalundborg.

How you might spend your days
As a Site HSE Coordinator, AMK-P, you’ll be:
- Ensuring that consideration is taken to the working environment in connection with architectural, technical, and organizational choices.
- Drawing up a SSSP (PSS) - health and safety plan that includes an organisation plan, a construction site layout plan, and a time schedule for the hazardous work,
- Preparing a journal tailored to the work package and site, listing specific HSE conditions for future works.
- Performing mapping and risk assessments of working environment conditions and facilitate methods for handling risks.
- Assisting the design teams in choosing solutions with least impact on the working environment and in describing the remaining risks.
- Ensuring that the general principles for preventing work environment problems are considered when preparing the project.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Technical degree (e.g., Constructing Architect (Bygningskonstruktør), Engineering, Construction Management, or similar).
- Mandatory training as a Working Environment Coordinator (Arbejdsmiljøkoordinator).
- Proven experience in HSE coordination for large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong experience in conducting risk assessments, developing safety plans, and managing safety protocols on construction sites.
- Practical experience with construction site conditions, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks throughout various phases of the project.
- Good documentation practice, data understanding and handling of information in databases, excel and other programs such as Dalux etc.
