How you will make an impact
Reporting to the Director of Health From Within, your responsibility as Global Innovation Manager will be to drive the innovative agenda for Arla Cultura and Arla Lactofree. Working closely with the Senior Innovation Manager, you will develop scalable innovations and set the agenda for the next 3-5 years, ensuring our brands remain at the forefront of the market. You will become part of our Arla Brand team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various markets.
More specifically, you will:
- Via cross market collaboration, lead and drive innovation within Arla Cultura and Arla Lactofree, developing the right portfolio on associated brands, focusing on big scalable innovations across market. Working closely to drive innovation hand in hand with the brand team
- Be part of setting the innovation agenda for the coming 3-5 years
- Have end-to-end ownership of projects - from concept development to product development (in collaboration with product/pack development team and other functions)
- Secure approval through Arla’s gate process with market commitment and ultimately handover to the brand team
- Be part of driving global governance model with single point of contact for markets, fostering strong communication and contracting on expectations with different stakeholders
For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. Due to Brexit implications, we are, however, restricted on what is possible for candidates that are UK based. Here, people can of course consider relocating.
You should expect travel activities corresponding to a few times a month across Europe (if you are based in Viby Denmark, travel will be less) and otherwise work from home or utilize our offices in one of our European markets. Travel requirements will vary through the year.

We are first and foremost looking for you, who are passionate about working with innovation and wants to creatively develop brands through innovation. You do so by using your creative flair to influence shopper and consumer behaviour while also considering the customers/channel and product category. You are a great collaborator and know how to bring people along on the journey in building strong relationships and networks. You are curious and eager to learn new things to continuously develop your professional and personal skills.
Besides this, you:
- Have several years of experience from a similar innovation role, preferably in a global FMCG context
- Have experience working with P&L and commercial projects
- Possess excellent project management skills and are able to run projects cross-functionally with a strong focus on cost, scale, quality and time
- Are a strong communicator who sets the direction
- Are commercially minded and understand what drives a business
- Are fluent in English
