The IT Application Manager will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining the company's suite of software applications. This role ensures that all applications are running smoothly, meet business requirements, and are fully integrated within our IT ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience in application management, a strong understanding of IT systems, and communication skills.

Based on our solution landscape, it will be an advantage if you have some experience with the following areas:

  • Collaboration with external sourcing partners
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • Control of backlogs and being on top of application development.

You will be part of the “Technology” department, in which we aim at building a best-in-class technology platform providing state-of-art solutions tailored to achieve our ambitious objectives. We embrace cloud and are properly the financial institution in Denmark furthest with the implementation of a full cloud platform using Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake etc. “Technology” embodies a dynamic mix; combining a start-up mentality with well-established processes. What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee the lifecycle of all enterprise applications, from planning and implementation to ongoing support and updates
  • Translating business requirements to development actions for our development teams
  • Manage application configurations, integrations, and enhancements to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align application capabilities with business needs
  • Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues

Your background and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in application management, IT systems, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with business and technical teams
  • Strong communicator who can express complicated matters in an easy and graspable way in verbal and written communication

It would be ideal if you also have:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software solutions and application life cycle management
  • Proven experience with application configuration, integration, and support processes
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, service management, and problem resolution methodologies
