Would you like to join an ambitious and dynamic organization where you can help shape a sustainable future?
Apply
Key role in designing international Biogas Plants to ensure sustainable biogas production
As an electrical and automation engineer, you will have around 20 competent colleagues in the Electrical Engineering department, which is part of Engineering in Design and Development. The department works with the planning and design of our new biogas plants, as well as working on improvements and extensions to the existing facilities.
You will have a decisive role in the design and planning phase of our biogas plants, where your tasks are:
- Project planning and specification of electrical installations for machinery
- Design and specification of distribution and machine boards
- Planning, design, and dimensioning of low and high-voltage installations
- Specification and procurement of instruments and frequency converters
- Specification of electrical data for machines etc.
- Risk assessments, ATEX classifications, and quality assurance
- Supervision, testing, and commissioning the facilities
- Experience of participating in HAZID / HAZOP workshops
- Knowledge of OT network configuration
- Knowledge of PLC / SCADA programming systems
- Knowledge of functional safety and safety instrumented systems
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering project team to deliver our projects, working alongside colleagues in the other engineering departments to complete our project deliverables on time. On larger projects you will work in a team of colleagues in the Electrical department (sometimes in a Lead role) to share design tasks and scope responsibilities to deliver effectively on our broad scope.
In addition, you will take on an expert role in the electrical and automation engineering field, where your knowledge will be used to support your colleagues both in the department and in the broader Engineering group. This includes both supporting on activities in projects, but also helping to develop and improve our internal processes and tools to improve working efficiency within the department.
Your work primarily takes place at our office in either Aarhus, Støvring or Odense. As a new colleague in the engineering department, you must go through a training period, which will require you to initially be at the office in Støvring 2-3 days a week. It is also expected that there will be some time spent on our operating plants to become familiar with the design and layout of a Nature Energy biogas facility, and fieldwork and site visits are also a part of the role.
Electrical/Automation profile with an interest in biogas plants and the green transition
You have an educational background as an engineer, electrical installer, automation technician, marine engineer, or equivalent and ideally have a few years of experience in a similar position. However, it is not a requirement.
As a person, you think logically and have a structured approach to problem-solving. Quality is your trademark, and you thrive in the role of "expert" in your field. You are both experienced in and enjoy working in project teams with excellent communication skills and are also able to work independently.
You are approachable and good at getting things done. You manage to engage in teamwork as well as deliver an independent and systematic effort. You are curious and have the will to learn new things and improve your skills further in your technical field.
You communicate effortlessly in writing and speaking in Danish and English. In addition, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of SEE Electrical, MS Visio, AutoCAD, and CanecoOne.
