About this opportunity Welcome to the Securitisation team. We add value by offering Nordea’s clients advice on and execution of asset-backed financing solutions and related advisory services through the full value proposition. As an Analyst in Investment Banking & Equities, Securitisation you’ll play a valuable role in the many parts of Securitisation and an opportunity for you to join a market leading team at the heart of some of the most complex transactions in the Nordic region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Assist with structuring, negotiating and documenting securitisation transactions across a variety of different asset classes
- Take lead on modelling and analytics related to the current portfolio of investments and future business opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to align operations with business objectives
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Assist with month, quarter and year-end reconciliation and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of portfolio performance, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigating factors
- Responsible for reporting, arrange funding and cash management activities (including a small amount of bookkeeping) for the team’s securitisation exposures
The role is based in Copenhagen.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are/have:
- Master’s Degree in finance, economics, engineering, management or any related fields
- Up to 3 years of relevant work experience, prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
- Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, PowerBI or similar tools will be very beneficial for the position
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A strong proficiency in English and preferably one Nordic language
