How will you make an impact?
As Senior Data Sustainability Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our efforts to collect and exchange farm-related sustainability data, thereby driving the green transition through our Farm Ahead tools. Trustworthy and verifiable sustainability data is a prerequisite for success.

One of your key responsibilities will be to maximize the number of high-quality farm data points transferred from existing databases into the Arla data environment and tools. This effort supports our ambition of simplifying life for our farmers by integrating various data sources, which reduces the need for manual data entry.

As part of a major project focusing on digital farms, you will explore and identify databases that we can trust and utilize. This involves understanding the available data and determining how it can be integrated into our systems. By leveraging these tools, we aim to create more value for farmers, providing them with actionable insights.

How will you be successful?
You have a profound understanding of agricultural productivity data, likely with experience from science, advisory service, working with IT-tools or as a data provider, which allows you to efficiently test and verify compliance between the data sources and the target data. You have probably experience from working with agricultural data in one or more of the following areas:

• Plant production
• Dairy cow nutrition
• Biodiversity on farm including field data
• Environmental data

You have a flair for identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential partners to efficiently expand the number of data points entering our environment. You have an innovative and creative mindset and experience in using it to develop motivating features for science based tools – creating value for farmers. Furthermore, you ideally:

• Have project managing skills
• Bring strong experience from working close to dairy farmers – e.g. advisory
• Have an agricultural scientific background and strong interest in sustainability
• Are curious about data and what it can be used for
• Are a good communicator
• Have the ability to work in a highly international environment
• Speak and write English effortlessly
