About the Role
We are seeking a skilled technical architect to join the operational rail IT organization to ensure IT support for the largest Danish infrastructure initiative (the Signalling Programme). You'll contribute to the implementation of IT solutions for our new railway systems, utilizing your technical insight to design, develop, and implement mission-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
As a technical architect you will be known for:
- design & software development:
Work on customer delivery projects, integrating system design and development as part of Banedanmark's system integrator role. - stakeholder Management
: Navigate relationships with various stakeholders, mediating technical requirements between the program, operational teams, and suppliers. - a holistic Approach
: Employ frameworks, methods, and standards to ensure high-quality deliverables. - focus on durability
, reliability, security, and maintainability in all solutions, with a thorough understanding of networking protocols.
Specific Tasks Include
- Creating comprehensive overviews of service landscapes, including systems, relationships, services, and data.
- Proposing changes to business processes, roles, and resource profiles for efficient solution management.
- Acting as the liaison between operations, business units, and suppliers, ensuring smooth development to commissioning transitions.
- Overseeing operational follow-up, including support and fault finding.
Qualifications
You bring development experience and the versatility to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You understand public transportation infrastructure and want to learn more.
You have experience in IT architecture within large, complex projects, including workflow and process implementation.
Your analytical skills allow you to understand the overall context while also focusing on details, and you communicate well in English, both written and spoken.
You should be comfortable on our technology platform; its central elements are Linux, Python, PostgreSQL, Antlr4.
Salary
You will be employed in relation to the current labour agreement and your salary is settled based on your experiences and qualifications.
