The job
In the role as AI Developer, you will be responsible for delivering intelligent solutions that will take the business to the next level in data-driven decisions and actions.

You will be part of a young and collaborative team, responsible for developing AI/ML initiatives across brands and departments in Salling Group.
As an AI Developer, you will contribute to setting the direction for one of the most innovative domains in Salling Group in the future, and you will directly affect the profitability and customer experience of one of the largest companies in Denmark.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems in the retail domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business processes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML and recommend relevant technologies and methodologies to enhance our capabilities, e.g. within MLOps.
• Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.

Your skills and background, you possess...

• a technical degree within the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• strong interest in data and how it can be utilized to create a difference for our business.
• proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models in a production environment.
• solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data analysis techniques.
• experience with Python and popular machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

It is an advantage but not a requirement if you have worked with Generative AI (LLM, embedding, vector databases), Git, Cloud Computing, Docker/containers, APIs.
