Do you have a passion for creating engaged and empowered communities? Can you encourage interchange and networking, as well as analyzing it? Are you curious about market insights and ways to make them more digestible and actionable?
As a Vertical Enablement and Communication Specialist you will be instrumental in developing our global vertical and sales community strategy, and sales communication standards. You will provide structured and meaningful support to Global Vertical Heads enabling and supporting a professional setup across verticals. You will develop and promote communication best practice across various sales communities and platforms.
The Global Vertical Heads will drive the direction and overall strategy for their vertical. They will develop the right value propositions and ensure we play where we win. Your role as the Vertical Enablement and Communication Specialist will be to analyse vertical performance whilst finding the red thread. You will develop the vertical communities and use them to cascade insights, collect feedback, enable actions, and drive networking.
Key responsibilities
- Community management: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive community strategy. Regularly analyse your communities and really get to know your members gaining insights into their needs and requirements to deliver growth.
- Identify themes and insights: Analyse data to identify themes and develop actions. Gather and cascade insights through regular interviews with internal stakeholders, review external resources and develop case studies.
- Communication best practice: Partner with internal stakeholders to build and improve communication strategies and skills. Build frameworks for customer workshops. Act as a guardian for internal sales communication ensuring a customer mindset is maintained throughout.
- Strategic project management: Manage the execution of projects relating to the growth of sub verticals in addition to other ad hoc projects throughout the year. In addition to the project management you will also become involved in some of the tasks to enable you to build your knowledge of the verticals.
This is a job that you learn quickly in practice, but it is especially important that you enjoy the work. Here are some other attributes of the right candidate.
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a background in community management, ideally within a global company.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and able to influence without authority. A problem solver who is highly organised with the ability to think critically.
- Is adaptable, strategic and forward-thinking.
- Ability to identify trends and turn data insights into actions.
- Excellent communication (speaking and writing) and interpersonal skills, working with multiple senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.
