To meet high demands from our existing and new potential large global customers
You will join Global Customs and build up the commercial function. Dealing with customs for our DSV customers has long been part of our business. However, to support our growth strategy we wish to meet our large customers’ needs for solving their needs and challenges in the space of Customs brokerage.

As your team will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to adapt business needs and requirements into the new solution, you will carry out indirect management in our matrix organization. Moreover, you will be part of a management team of 4 that we are currently building within Global Customs.

Be in touch with large customers and colleagues around the world
Your job will essentially be to make sure our customers get the service they are promised in their contract with DSV. In close collaboration with and as an essential support to senior staff in our global commercial organization, you will be in touch with customers and colleagues around the world to drive continuous improvement and innovation of our Customs marketing function. As such supporting operational excellence of our Customs products and bringing added value from their role to our customers’ supply chains.

This also means that a large part of your role will be customer-facing as well as have a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders in DSV as you:

• Set the commercial strategy for Customs services for large clients;
• Own the Global commercial product and service catalogue for Customs services;
• Contribute to RFI and RFQ processes in the field of Customs capabilities;
• Have review meetings with the customers to follow up on agreed KPIs, performance and business related improvement points of our services;
• Work with global Customs operations leads to ensure operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement and performance management with both involved relevant Group functions and country stakeholders – sometimes as participant in or as manager of improvement projects

Logistics profile with a flair for customer interaction
Most likely, you have a background as a freight forwarder or a degree within logistics, transport or shipping and ideally, you have experience with the operational side of logistics in a customer-facing role. Moreover, you:

• Are comfortable doing customer meetings, virtual calls and presentations
• Thrive in an atmosphere where you work on several tasks at a time without losing your customer focus
• Most likely have experience with TMS (transport management systems) and have no problem navigating Excel and of course MS Office
• Are fluent in English
• Have a great sense of the commercial relevance for global and regional trade lanes

You will work at our local DSV location in you residing country.
