DSV is expanding its IT capabilities as the world’s largest transport and logistics company following our acquisition of DB Schenker. We are seeking a skilled Computer System Validation (CSV) Specialist with relevant validation experience to join our IT Healthcare team department.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team within the Healthcare IT Centre of Excellence at DSV as a Computer System Validation (CSV) Specialist. In this role, you will ensure the compliance, quality, and validation of critical IT systems that support healthcare operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and IT, drive the validation processes, and contribute to the DSV Healthcare business. DSV is recruiting a CSV Specialist to permanently join the IT Healthcare Centre of Excellence, Group Application, and Global IT organisation in Denmark, Poland, Portugal, Mexico, or India.
Main task and Responsibilities:
As a Computer System Validation Specialist, you will:
· Manage and oversee Computerised System Validation (CSV) activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., GAMP 5, FDA, EMA, 21 CFR Part 11).
· Conduct and lead risk assessments for computerised systems, identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring readiness for internal and external audits.
· Develop, review, and approve validation documentation, including Validation Plans, Risk Assessments, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols, and validation reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements.
· Oversee validation activities for applications and Qualified Infrastructure, ensuring timely execution and proper documentation according to the department’s validation plan.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture, to identify and meet validation requirements for new systems and upgrades.
· Monitor the progress of validation activities to ensure efficient completion while adhering to DSV’s risk-based validation approach.
· Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends, applying them to continuously improve DSV’s validation processes.
· Support the department leadership in achieving objectives aligned with the IT Healthcare Centre of Excellence goals, ensuring that departmental objectives are met.
Key Skills and Requirements:
· Educated to a degree level in a computer science, engineering, life science or similar discipline, though an advanced degree would be ideal.
· Demonstrable experience in computerised systems validation in a regulated organisation such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, etc.
· Expertise in regulatory needs such as FDA, EMA, etc., as well as industry standards such as GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, etc. connected to CSV.
· Project management abilities with the capacity to efficiently guide a team and handle various projects concurrently.
· Communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
· Works well with others in cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
· Familiarity with validation documentation risk assessments and validation implementation.
· Fluency in the English language.
