Opportunity

Sailing container vessels with food, goods and medicine across the world is a lifestyle. At Maersk, our 12,000 seafarers are working and living at sea for weeks and months on end, sharing the ship and the experience only with their colleagues onboard, day and night, through light and darkness. It takes the right kind of seafarers, and it takes dedicated colleagues on shore who are committed to making sure our seagoing colleagues have the support they need to stay mentally and physically well and thrive while onboard. We are on the lookout for that very special colleague right now.

Mental health and wellbeing of our seafarers are essential for safe and effective vessel operations. To ensure this, we are now looking for a new Crew Wellbeing & Welfare Manager to help us define, scope, and deliver key initiatives that drives and promote mental health and wellbeing onboard – from introducing a new confidential helpline, to enabling social activities onboard, to ensuring mental health training and awareness across sea and shore. Measure, Report & Improve: Monitor the impact of wellbeing and engagement initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement. Facilitate open feedback loops, ensuring seafarers feel heard, supported, and engaged.
