Role Description
LEO Pharma is embarking on an exciting journey towards its Initial Public Offering (IPO), marking a pivotal transformation for the company. As we prepare for this new phase of growth, we are looking for a skilled and proactive Executive Remuneration Program Manager to help shape the evolution of our rewards strategy. This is a unique opportunity to join the team and contribute to the development of our executive remuneration framework, ensuring it aligns with our ambitious goals and supports the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent as we move toward our IPO.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Vice President of Global People Operations Services, Performance, and Rewards, you will collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure the alignment of our remuneration strategies with LEO Pharma’s business objectives. As a key player in the executive compensation space, you will monitor trends in executive compensation and design strategies that maintain LEO Pharma’s competitive positioning in the market. Based at our headquarters in Denmark, you will manage the annual compensation review process for executives and provide strategic guidance on the design and implementation of executive incentive plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remuneration Committee Support: Manage the annual Remuneration Committee cycle, including agenda setting and preparing materials for discussions.
• Compensation Plan Design: Ensure LEO Pharma’s equity and incentive compensation plans are tailored to align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Executive Compensation Recommendations: Provide recommendations to the Remuneration Committee on executive compensation strategies and structures.
• Equity Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for equity compensation to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term goals and performance.
• Global Remuneration Benchmarks: Conduct global benchmarking of executive remuneration and design new variable pay schemes to ensure competitiveness.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses on executive compensation for the Remuneration Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all executive compensation plans comply with regulatory standards and corporate governance requirements.
• Collaboration with HR and Finance: Partner with HR and Finance teams to align remuneration strategies with business objectives and to ensure consistent and effective execution.
• Trend Monitoring: Continuously monitor trends in executive compensation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Annual Review Process: Lead and manage the annual compensation review process for executives, ensuring fair and effective evaluations.
• Incentive Plan Design & Implementation: Advise on the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of executive incentive plans, ensuring they remain competitive, performance-driven, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Business Administration, HRM, or similar
• Experience in Global Rewards/Compensation & Benefits from a consultancy or a multinational, listed company
• Experience with Executive Remuneration, equity programs, Rewards Programs
• Experience in preparing materials and managing the Remuneration Committee meetings is an asset
• Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using HR and compensation management software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of global compensation trends and practices
