Senior Test Automation Engineer

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll support quality initiatives across an agile organisation, focused on fulfilling demands from Agile Release Train (People ART) and other delivery teams in Ørsted IT. You’ll play a fundamental role in SAFe System Team within the ART and work closely with Technical Product Owner (TPO) and the development teams.

Welcome to Automation Competency Centre
You’ll be part of People ART where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver consistent, scalable, and adaptable digital solutions that support the employee lifecycle – seamlessly integrated across People & Development (P&D) and Global People Services (GPS) teams.

As a team, we are still a relatively new construct that’s why the successful candidate will have a chance to influence its maturity journey together with the colleagues from Denmark, Malaysia, and Poland.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • establishing the ART overall strategy for testing in collaboration with the ART leadership and Technical Product Owner (TPO), incl. use of test automation across the development pipeline
  • helping Features teams in preparing and executing test plans
  • ensuring cross-team tests are established when multiple teams deliver as part of one release and/or to ensure no regression
  • making sure that team members are skilled in testing and implementing quality concepts from planning to deployment
  • creating selected Built-in Quality initiatives in cooperation with DevOps Centre of Excellence (CoE) and implementing them in ART and teams
  • preparing and providing test results from automation runs and analysing test results to recommend corrective actions and manage product and project risks.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have substantial hands-on experience working with test automation tools and framework, ideally in SAP SuccessFactors
  • have prior experience to manage testing of various SuccessFactors modules like Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruitment, Learning and Compensation and have a good understanding of HR processes
  • are experienced in working with scaled agile concepts, preferably SAFe framework
  • have documented experience with driving initiatives and managing stakeholders in an international environment
  • have a deep understanding of DevOps methodology principles
  • are self-driven and excellent in managing cross-team dependencies.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
