Mainframe Technical Specialist

The Mainframe Service are providing business critical services for the financial services in the Nordics enabling financial institutions to become more agile and efficient, accelerating their digital transformation journey.

We are now searching for an experienced Mainframe Business Architect to our Mainframe team.

You will be responsible for business financial design, control and optimizing mainframe systems to meet Tietoevry and our customers’ business requirements. You will work very close our strategic partners and customers supporting in different sales cases and financial follow up and control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sales support and lead solutioning presentations and discussions
• Proactively recommend improvements and enhancements
• Very close collaboration with the customer teams and end customers
• Key financial contact for our vendors and customers in BID and sales cases
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the Mainframe area and
  recommend improvements and changes to the mainframe ecosystem.
• Expert skills in sales calculating and financial controls

What we expect:

• A solid understanding of Mainframe topologies,
• Expert skills in financial business calculations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with vendor management and customer contracts
• Expert analytic and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent English language skills
• The selected candidate must successfully pass a security clearance. This process will be conducted as part of the recruitment procedure.
• Strong financial business competence
  

We also appreciate if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related working experience
• Good understanding in Mainframe technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams in different countries.

The role will be located in the Nordics or within the EU.
