About the job:
As a part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in navigating the complex global tax landscape, focusing on client taxes. You'll engage with diverse global legislations such as the Qualified Intermediary (QI) regime, FATCA, and OECD standards. Responsibilities:

  • Implement an ambitious QI Compliance Program with a focus on Risk Management and Governance, establishing key policies and procedures within a robust governance framework
  • Conduct impact assessments of Tax Compliance risk, implement key controls and automation, and integrate Tax Compliance requirements into operational processes like Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence
  • Provide crucial support during audits and certifications, including data analysis and process descriptions, while continuously improving tax reporting processes and tools to boost efficiency and accuracy
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within tax compliance obligations, conducting comprehensive research, defining essential governance processes, and implementing robust Tax Documentation solicitation processes to comply with regulations
  • Develop internal policies and procedures for the operational management of Tax Reporting, provide strategic guidance and support for Risk Assessments, assist in communication with international Tax Agencies, and stay informed on regulatory developments and affairs
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure seamless compliance and implementation of requirements

Your profile:
You hold a master's degree in law, accounting, auditing, or another relevant field, with a proven track record within Tax Compliance and experience in implementing key compliance obligations within the financial services industry. Proactive and able to work effectively in a time-sensitive setting, you possess strong written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in English and the ability to convey the impact and requirements clearly, as well as a flair for communication at different management levels. You are capable of working independently while managing priorities. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is structured, detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated, with a focus on effective problem-solving while working under tight deadlines. Being a team player who is willing to share learnings and new ideas is also crucial.
