You will be part of our Danish office with headquarter in Brøndby. In Brøndby we are a total of 150 engineers with 50 different nationalities and backgrounds – we have a high professional level, and we work with technical complex pipe-systems.

You design solutions that create safety under water
Our flexible offshore pipe-systems must function flawlessly in all conditions. And to keep the pipes in place, we use many types of structural components – from anchors to buoyancy modules. The overall job assignment is to undertake the design and fabrication of these components.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be part of our Structures & Ancillaries department, where you will be part of a department mainly consisting of experienced structural engineers and a few experienced draftsmen/designers. You get to follow your work all the way – from the project phase through design and fabrication at suppliers to the component being installed offshore.

Your main tasks will be:

• Prepare structural calculations and design reports on the steel component you are responsible for according to standards (DNV, NORSOK, ISO, API, etc.) and other customer specifications.

Who are you?
• You are an experienced structural engineer with a focus on statics and steel structures with strong analytical mindset (preferable offshore structures).

We collaborate on best practices regarding design processes, templates and across projects and functions. This ensures that we succeed together - and that we meet the high documentation requirements.

You can potentially have 5-10 travel days per year where you visit our sub-suppliers abroad.

• Participate in project teams consisting of other engineering disciplines, purchasers, project manager, project assistants, document controllers, etc.

• Handle and respond to customer comments in collaboration with your colleagues and ensure that everything progresses as planned.

• Check design documentation for your colleagues.

• Attend and sometimes facilitate customer meetings, meetings with subcontractors and internal technical meetings with other engineering departments.

• Fabrication follow-up at our Danish and international sub-suppliers.

• Write technical specifications for subcontractors based on customer input and other engineering teams within NOV Flexibles.

• Provide drawing input to the Structural Designer who will draw your component.
