We are expanding and looking for a new Senior Scientist/Team Lead to support our development projects!

Our Process Development department in Hørsholm develops and optimizes vaccine production processes and supports our production sites. The team handles diverse and evolving tasks and includes 26 members across 5 specialized groups. You will join the newly formed Drug Product Development and Analysis Team, working as a Senior Scientist/Team Lead, with two Scientists and two Technicians; reporting to the Head of Process Development. The team focuses on drug product process development, stability studies, and key assay support for ongoing programs.

Your Impact
You must have a strong interest in formulation development and product characterization combined with the discipline it takes to deliver high-quality analytical data consistently. Given the team's function, there will be close interaction with all the teams in the department.
Your tasks will include:
- Driving the daily operation of the team, setting the scientific direction, and ensuring the development of the team members
- Solve complex scientific and technical issues in vaccine formulation. Utilize particle characterization tools with the team to understand and support product stability
- Ensuring established assays run smoothly and deliver high-quality data on time, while supporting the team in developing new assays to advance the department
- Designing studies, analyzing data, and ensuring clear, compliant documentation throughout
- Communicating daily with the team and collaborating closely with Production, Quality Control, and R&D
Are You Our Next Pioneer?
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- M.S. in Biotechnology, Human Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field, with a PhD in protein chemistry or a related topic
- 3-5 years of relevant experience from the biotech industry or academia is an advantage
- Previous experience with formulation development, statistical data analysis, and an understanding of protein chemistry is an advantage
- Fluency in spoken and written English
