About the job
As our new Logistics Coordinator, you will have a central role in coordinating our ocean and air freight shipments, securing cost effective and timely deliveries. To succeed, you will cooperate closely with our colleagues globally.
As the logistics setup is well defined and anchored with external partners, your focus will range from daily operational tasks and document securing to process evaluation and optimizations.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Handling of our entire container flow, from supplier until final delivery
- Handling of courier / airfreight shipments, globally
- Handling and validating documentation related to transport.
- Facilitation of internal and external meetings, focusing on performance, costs and quality
- Drive business improvements, by securing transparency and KPI follow-up
- Support the Logistics team with passion, drive and a proactive approach
Qualifications
- You have a relevant education within supply chain
- You have at least 3 years of experience with ocean freight logistics and shipment coordination
- For this position, you will need to be fluent in spoken and written English, and you are an experienced user of MS Office and preferably Microsoft Business Central
- You have an analytical mindset and are experienced in working with Data in Excel
- You are keen on details and execute tasks and assignments in accordance to deadline
- You are skilled in coordination and prioritization
- You are structured and thrive in an ever-changing environment
- You thrive, in being a part of a team with high professional skills
The position requires a high level of independence. The logistics coordinator must proactively solve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues.
The department is currently undergoing a transformation, where focus is on creating business transparency and robustness. The logistics coordinator is expected to contribute to this development by participating in improvement activities and projects.
