What is the job about?
The Senior Finance Business Analyst, Operations Denmark & Poland will be the vital link between our collective repository of financial data and our business objectives and play a significant role in transformation journey with the new established Water Treatment Europe organization. You will support and ensure the successful building up, testing, and deploying of analytical standards or ad hoc queries relevant for our business. Together with the relevant stakeholders, you will define specifications for business analyses and configure solutions. Your relationship with and communication to Finance Business Partners and other business stakeholders is key.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the FBP WTE Operations covering finance activities related to operations in Denmark and Poland, including plant management, product costing, project controlling, cost controlling in Operations, performance accounting, CAPEX controlling and reporting, and participation in efficiency projects.
- Study financial data, attempting to spot trends, patterns, and make forecasts.
- Link the consequences of any internal or external factor influencing the business to the consequential impact on our consolidated financial statements and performance management systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and work with continuous improvements.
- Examine internal or external data sources and use findings to help finance business partners impact business decisions.
- Assist functions or performance units in making business decisions or proactively act on discovered trends.
- Spot inefficiencies and find opportunities for continuous improvement in the company's operations.
- Participate in dialogues directly with business stakeholders alongside Finance Business Partners.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's/master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex analyses and present findings in an easy-to-understand format.
- Experience in financial data analysis, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
