Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Claim & Bid Technical Manager in Copenhagen we’re looking for?

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, solution-focused, and collaborative colleagues.

You'll manage the technical scope of bids ensuring the delivery of an accurate and competitive proposal in line with our standard solutions and commercial strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Engineering teams, Sourcing, Industrial, Installation and T&C representatives), coordinate technical resources for bid preparation, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of analyzing technical requirements, building system architectures, and leading the preparation of technical documentation, but also supporting claims management for projects.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Provide to the Bid or contract Manager the estimate of engineering effort needed for the bid or claim preparation
  • Negotiate with the Project Engineering Director the allocation of the technical team in line with the bid or claim needs (expertise and timing)
  • Analyze, with the support of System Application Architect(s), the potential gaps between the customer's specification and standard solutions and products and support Bid Manager or Contract manager in defining the most suitable compliance strategy (claim or bid)
  • Coordinate, from a technical point of view, the bid internal stakeholders (Installation, Testing & Commissioning, RCs Project Engineering, Development Centers) and the external stakeholders (if applicable) to ensure overall understanding of the bid technical strategy (including scheme plans, bill of quantities, migration strategy, PDO, etc.)
  • Prepare and lead a Technical Design Review up to the approval of the technical scope associated to the bid/claim
  • Coordinate the engineering quotations and risks evaluation checking for overall consistency and competitiveness

Support Bid Manager during the negotiation with the Customer, identifying any technical change during that phase

All about you

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or scientific subjects
  • Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view
  • Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope
  • Familiarity with functional or hierarchical team management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making ability and analytical thinking

Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with cutting-edge technology in rail signalling and safety systems

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
