We’re looking for a driven Consultant ESG & Recharge to join our dynamic team in the Real Estate & General Admin department at Danfoss. This position is based in Nordborg, Denmark, but will involve working closely with teams across the UK, Finland, and Germany.

Job Responsibilities
As a Consultant ESG & Recharge, you’ll take on an exciting and diverse set of responsibilities:

  • Be the key driver behind collecting, analyzing, and reporting ESG data for Danfoss in Denmark, making sure we meet our sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK, Finland, and Germany to support ESG and energy reporting, contributing to our global sustainability strategy.
  • Oversee and report on our PPAs, ensuring alignment with Danfoss' ambitious CO2 reduction goals.
  • Work closely with Procurement to manage certificates for renewable energy sources, helping us maintain our sustainability commitments.
  • Develop and maintain tax and duty models, working alongside our internal finance specialists to ensure compliance.
  • Offer support to our business controllers, enhancing financial management and streamlining operations.
  • Be the go-to expert for our Recharge system, managing internal transactions between Global Services and various segments.
  • Use your advanced Excel skills to identify areas for process improvement, helping us better manage resources and allocate facilities efficiently.

Background & Skills
To thrive in this role, you need to be analytical, structured, and passionate about ESG and financial reporting. You’ll be an essential part of our team, and we’re looking for someone who is eager to contribute and grow with us.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Is either a recent graduate or has experience in controlling, reporting, or data analysis.
  • Has strong analytical skills and experience working with data.
  • Is an advanced Excel user, able to optimize work processes and improve efficiency.
  • Communicates well in both Danish and English, both in writing and speaking.
  • Is a self-starter, who thrives in both independent and team settings.
  • Experience with SAP and contract negotiations is a plus.
