IT Contract Manager - Manage IT Contracts for the Future Trains

Picture yourself central to the commercial strategy and contract oversight, enhancing the future public transportation in Denmark. Right now, we are looking for an IT Contract Manager to join the team.

DSB is investing in several different projects with a total value of approximately 50 billion DKK to ensure that Danes also have a sustainable alternative to cars, buses, and planes in the future.

DSB is looking for a Contract Manager whose focus in short-term is to develop commercial and contract management requirements that must be set and negotiate these requirements with bidders through an EU tendering process with negotiation.

Welcome to the project team and the Legal and Commercial Contract Management team
You will have two different "bases". One base is the Project Team and the other is in the Legal and Commercial Contract Management team.

You’ll collaborate closely with your fellow Contract Managers in the Legal and Commercial Contract Management team.

We are 9 Contract Managers/Senior Contract Manager, a Financial Analyst, and our Manager Eduardo. We are an international and diverse team with colleagues from different countries around the world.

You will become an integrated part of the project team consisting of Project Managers, Technicians, Lawyers, Construction Managers, and Change Managers. You will also collaborate with our external advisors and eventually our suppliers.

Common to both the Project Team and the Legal and Commercial Contract Management team is that we are open to new ideas; we set high standards, and focus on managing complex contracts developing processes tools systems. The organization is characterized by good atmosphere and room for sparring and laughter.

You will have ample opportunity for development as feedback and “lessons learned” are highly prioritized.

Your tasks will be to

• Coordinate with IT business owner(s) and legal team for contract clarifications.
• Support communication, test phases, and follow-up on contractual obligations using tools like Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) and Power BI.
• Manage IT related milestones from configuration to implementation for the deployment of the Maintenance Management System (MMS)
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Who are you?
We imagine that you have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field plus extensive experience in managing IT contracts within the transportation or rolling stock industry.

We envision that you recognize yourself in the following

• A solid background in project management, especially with large IT undertakings
• Verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and team members.
• Understand industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to IT and rolling stock delivery projects, including data security and compliance requirements.
• Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, or IACCM).
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Recruitment Process
