Strategy Project Manager
Ørsted
Join us in this role where you’ll lead high-impact strategic efforts to shape the future of our organisation. You’ll drive the scoping, design, and execution of complex organisational transformation initiatives, focusing on organisational design, development, and large-scale change implementation. Partnering with senior leadership, other strategy teams, and business stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation remains fit for purpose in an evolving landscape.
Welcome to People & Culture
You’ll be part of People Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will combine strategy development with hands-on execution, leveraging deep expertise in organisational design, operating model evolution, change implementation, and strategic workforce planning to drive meaningful impact.
As a team, we are strategists operating at the intersection of business strategy and organisational transformation.
You’ll play an important role in:
- Designing and executing major reorganisations, ensuring our operating model is aligned with strategic priorities and enables effective ways of working
- Leading large-scale organisational transformation initiatives, such as post-merger integrations, workforce restructuring, and operating model redesigns
- Driving organisational simplification, streamlining structures, processes, and governance to enhance efficiency and business agility
- Embedding strategic workforce planning, ensuring we have the right talent, skills, and structure to meet future needs
- Bridging strategy and execution, ensuring that transformation initiatives are not only well-designed but successfully implemented and adopted
- Advising and supporting senior leadership, providing insights, analyses, and recommendations to the CHRO, CEO, and Group Executive team on critical organisational topics.
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have extensive experience in organisational transformation, organisational design, and change implementation, ideally gained from a top-tier management consulting firm or an organizational development / transformation corporate function
- Have successfully led complex transformation projects, such as large-scale reorganisations, post-merger integrations, workforce restructuring, and global operating model redesigns
- Bring a strong consulting skillset, including data-driven problem-solving, structured communication, and executive stakeholder engagement
- Are adept at navigating ambiguity, setting clear direction in uncertain environments, and executing transformation initiatives with measurable impact
- Excel in stakeholder management, working effectively across all levels of the organisation, from senior executives to frontline team
- Are a natural leader and coach, with the ability to develop and empower junior team members and cross-functional project teams.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
