Student assistant in Service Excellence

The role and impact
We are now looking for a student assistant to be part of our Service Excellence Team. You will be part of a dynamic team of highly skilled engineers as well as other Student Helpers and we are counting on you to help us with programming, data processing, and a variety of other tasks.

To succeed in the role, you are IT savvy, and you are eager to bring new ideas to the table, helping us improve workflows and develop digital tools. You are detail-oriented, set high standards and consistently meet and surpass them. A strong interest in new technologies is essential, along with a willingness to explore and implement innovative solutions. While programming skills are a plus, a general enthusiasm for technology and its applications in our industry is what we value most. Additionally, a basic understanding of industrial chemical processes will be beneficial in this role.

We expect you to work around 10-15 hours weekly - possibly more during school breaks and we are of course flexible during exam periods.

Your responsibilities:

• Support with digitalization, standardization and automation processes, and some routine tasks on a need basis
• Developing and maintaining calculation tools and databases primarily in Excel including macros and VBA-code
• Bring new ideas about how we can improve our workflows and develop new tools to support our daily work, this could include using other programming languages and digital technologies

Furthermore, excellent communication skills are key, with fluency in both spoken and written English to facilitate clear and effective interactions within our diverse team.
