Our Customs Control Tower orchestrates the Customer’s customs brokerage and improves the information and process management of their customs operations, by bringing in overall control and data insights. This product aims to streamline customs procedures, ensuring compliance and providing complete visibility of the customs landscape. It helps customers orchestrate the often complex landscape of numerous brokers in multiple countries.

Your Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision

• Craft and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap that aligns with our business goals, industry trends, and customer needs.
• Prioritize product features and enhancements to ensure we deliver maximum value to our stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, clients, platform, and operations teams.
• Foster open and regular communication to maintain alignment and transparency across all teams.

Metrics & Reporting

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge product success and its impact on business processes.
• Create and present insightful reports on product performance, user adoption, and ROI to senior management.

Requirements Gathering

• Conduct thorough market research and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify and prioritize product requirements.

Go-to-Market Strategy

• Strategize and execute the global expansion of the Maersk Customs Hub, ensuring seamless implementation across all regions.

Who We're Looking For:
As the Business Product Owner, you will have the end-to-end responsibility for the product to ensure the platform and process work and we’re continually improving the product for our customers. You will need to be able to navigate a complex organisation and dive into the detail to understand customer pain points as well as be able to demonstrate the following:

• Innovative Thinker: You have a knack for thinking outside the box and can develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong Communicator: You excel in both written and verbal communication, making sure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and can translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Collaborator: You thrive in a team environment and can lead cross-functional teams to success.
• Customer-Centric: You always keep the customer’s needs at the forefront of your decision-making process.
• Business Process Expert: You have a deep understanding of business processes and can leverage this knowledge to drive product improvements.
• Product Manager: prior experience in product management in the services space is ideal. You’ll have knowledge of product management tools and framework/s (at Maersk we use 3PDF)
