Release Train Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll act as a driving force for sharing agile and SAFe knowledge across 9 teams (70 employees) in an IT Product Line (IPL). You’ll work as a servant leader and facilitate the IPL practices, program level processes, and execution. You’ll also manage risks and escalate impediments, as well as assist the teams in delivering value. An important part of your job will be to ensure proper funding to the IPL and continuously monitor spending. Come help us shape a culture of excellence and collaboration!

You’ll be part of Application Customizations and Operations (ACO IPL) where you, together with your colleagues, will will lead a strong and globally diverse team located in Denmark, Poland, Malaysia and US.

ACO IPL is the largest Application provider in Ørsted delivering standard as well as customized applications to all areas of Ørsted business and works on enabling Ørsted with IT capabilities to increase effectiveness and processes.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring a sustainable and efficient flow of products by working closely with the product manager and solution architect in ACO IPL
  • ensuring that the IPL growth is balanced according to roadmap, sourcing of new people and the budget
  • the development of the IPL, e.g., scrum masters, processes, team topology etc.
  • facilitating ceremonies, e.g., PI planning, SOS, ART Leadership meetings, etc.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have strong experience with scaled agile and scrum working with multiple agile teams in a SAFe context
  • are very proficient in financial management and accounting structures related to IT, enabling informed decision-making, and the tracking of progress and budget across complex multi-funding channel
  • have experience working as an RTE, e.g., running agile ceremonies and coordinating cross-functional and cross-country teams to deliver working software to the business
  • understand how to use agile tools such as Azure DevOps, and Miro
  • have a collaborative and involving mindset and understand what it takes to be leading in an agile environment.
