Your role and responsibilities
Are you experienced in identifying risks and opportunities in technologically based projects? Do you aspire to leverage your expertise to influence our future organization by closely integrating sales and project management? We are currently expanding our deliverables within Pharma automation and control systems. Utilizing our global setup, project controlling is crucial, and you will work closely with our Project Managers. We handle a variety of projects with different contract types, providing ample opportunities to showcase your project controlling skills. Your responsibilities: • Serve as the financial authority and lead economic expert in projects and promote economical awareness in the project team • Assumes joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all financial aspects of the project and ensures alignment with other functions • Drives and seeks for the optimization of project cash flow, revenues and gross margin contribution. • Provide the project manager with comprehensive insights into financial risks and opportunities within the overall project portfolio. • Conduct thorough financial project reviews in collaboration with project managers. • Collaborate with project managers to forecast project deliveries, subsequent milestone invoicing, revenues, planned cost and earnings. • Supports the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing detailed project reports (weekly/monthly) for customers, consortium partners, stakeholders, and direct management. • Contribute to contract assessments and assist in shaping projects prior to sale.

Qualifications for the role

• A bachelor's degree or higher in an economically oriented field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project controlling with external customers.
• Experienced with ERP systems and a willingness to learn SAP if not already familiar.
• Ability to create comprehensive overviews and manage daily tasks independently.
• Motivation to engage in claim management, project planning, and utilize planning tools.
• Confidence to seek clarification and information when needed.
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.

You will be part of a project organization consisting of 7 project/site managers, the PMO manager, and 2 project controllers. This environment offers high professionalism and excellent opportunities for sparring, which you can leverage for your professional development. We operate across locations in Kalundborg, Ballerup, and Middelfart. You can choose which office you will be associated with; however, we expect you to be able to travel between offices as needed by the project or project manager.
