Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a skilled MRO Category Manager dedicated to the Europe region, with technical acumen and work experience to support our growth journey. In the Indirect Procurement organization, we are responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities covering a spend of several million Euros across our global categories. The passion for the green restart is relevant in all our areas.

Joining Danfoss Power Solutions you will be a part of an international and multicultural Indirect Procurement team of passionate, motivated and professional team members.

Job Responsibilities
As our new MRO Category Manager, you will lead sourcing and negotiations activities together with our internal stakeholders. You will build and develop strong and mutual beneficial partnerships to deliver value, identify and implement optimization ideas, improve commercial conditions and continuously contribute to Danfoss competitiveness. Your daily tasks will be but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain category strategy: direction, goals, suppliers’ strategy, execution plans
  • Negotiate contracts as a lead or part of the team
  • Manage supplier relationship
  • Identify and execute new initiatives to ensure continuous improvements
  • Manage Key stakeholders; understand business needs; communicate strategies and prioritize daily
  • Contact with a wide range of external suppliers
  • Act as a sparring partner to stakeholders and your colleagues

Background & Skills
To be successful in this position, we expect you to have a suitable bachelor and/or master’s degree, and

  • Strong negotiation skills that go along with excellent English skills on negotiation level
  • Experienced in project and stakeholder management
  • Team and goal-oriented mind-set and analytical approach
  • An outgoing and well-respected communication style due to the importance of building relationships with stakeholders, peers and team members
  • The ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions
  • Experience with procurement of MRO Catalogs, Cutting Tools and Production Maintenance will be considered an advantage
