About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the efficient management of endpoint devices and IT infrastructure, which directly supports our humanitarian mission. In this role, you will blend your technical skills, strategic thinking, and collaborative efforts to empower colleagues across the organization.

Your primary focus will be endpoint management, complemented by infrastructure and general IT administration tasks. The ideal candidate excels in endpoint device management and will be eager to collaborate, learn, and occasionally step into adjacent IT functions, particularly in Azure cloud infrastructure, applications management, and software licensing, to support team flexibility, resilience, and during periods of extended absence or high workload.

Key responsibilities

  • Endpoint Administration: Manage endpoint governance, compliance, deployment, and configuration using Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Oversee procurement cycles, vendor coordination, device lifecycle management, and implement tools like Autopilot for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Infrastructure Team Backup: Serve as a backup and actively engage in other infrastructure roles, including Azure cloud initiatives, applications management, software licensing, and governance frameworks. Assume these responsibilities proactively, especially during absences or increased workload periods.
  • Collaborative IT Operations: Actively collaborate with colleagues across other IT focus areas, addressing endpoint and infrastructure-related challenges, providing frontline support, contributing to security initiatives, documentation, knowledge sharing, training, and proposing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Extensive experience in endpoint/device administration, specifically with Microsoft Intune.
  • Solid understanding and troubleshooting of Windows, iOS, Android operating systems, and associated hardware.
  • Proactive problem-solving and proven collaborative skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms, infrastructure governance, software licensing, and vendor management.
  • Experience or interest in applications management, including deployment and software licensing optimization.
  • Previous experience in an NGO environment or solid motivation for humanitarian work.
  • Danish language proficiency.
