In our Self-Protection Systems (SPS) business unit, we deliver systems and products to protect aircrew and equipment through advanced technology and we are currently experiencing many exciting opportunities and challenges. We are therefore looking for a Project Manager for our Self-Protection Systems unit to become part of our Programs Management team and contribute to our overall purpose - securing people through advanced technology.

Your role in our team
As our new Project Manager, you will become part of a group of experienced Project Management professionals and will work as an integrated part of the SPS Program Excellence team.

You will be responsible for leading and implementing our projects in accordance with customer requirements. You will be the customer's primary contact starting upon reception of order, whereupon you take full responsibility for the project. You have focus on building strong relations with stakeholders both internally and externally and creating high customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for leading and motivating your project teams and ensure that they deliver high quality on time and on budget. As Project Manager, you will be given full P/L responsibility, which fits your natural flair and drive for securing that commercial success is delivered as a team effort.

Finally, you will be working with international relations and therefore, it is important that you thrive in this and are willing to travel up to 20-30 days a year.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:

• Planning project activities, including resources, schedules and financial aspects, from initiation to delivery to customer
• Report project progress in relation to schedule, finance and quality to customer and management stakeholders
• Manage and report project budgets and status
• Responsible for project change and risk management

Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a negotiation level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or other relevant technical background
• You have some years of experience within project management
• You are accustomed to working with both colleagues and clients form different cultures
• You have a good and sound commercial business understanding and good communication skills

As a person, you are solution-oriented and professional, with a strong ability to tackle challenges on the way to successful project completion. You bring solid leadership skills and communicate clearly with both customers and stakeholders across the organization.
You are a team player with strong collaborative skills and value close cooperation with internal and external partners. You keep a broad perspective while managing your projects in a dedicated and proactive way.
Your work style is analytical, structured, and systematic, and you master handling multiple parallel activities at the same time. You thrive in international settings and enjoy working in a complex environment with an informal tone and cross-organizational communication.
