As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge production test solutions for our New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives. Collaborate with talented colleagues across the globe in dedicated project teams, and be an integral part of enhancing our shared manufacturing test platform.
Your responsibilities in our NPI projects will range from developing production test concepts, outlining test fixtures, schematics, test sequences, to efficiently planning and structuring future test releases, for our manufacturing sites and hereby contributing to the production test solutions for all our products within our professional headsets, audio and video solutions, whereby you will be supporting us with our purpose of Bringing People Closer.
The Team You'll Join
At our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you'll become a vital member of the Global Manufacturing Test team. This team collaborates across all disciplines within our R&D organization and reports directly to the Manager of Manufacturing Test.
You will be part of a dynamic, engaged, and diverse group of engineers, working alongside colleagues from our headquarters in Denmark and our offices in China. Embracing an international and hybrid work environment, you'll collaborate with team members from various nationalities. Together, we strive to support GN's vision of leading the way in intelligent audio and video solutions.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Develop cost-efficient production test solutions and platforms aligned with future technology and process requirements with a focus on both software and hardware
- Deliver and coordinating the project activities you are responsible for
- Continuously improving and updating existing test platforms
- Documenting test methods, procedures, and platforms
- Specifying test requirements in close collaboration with our product design teams
- Governing external partners and test equipment vendors
We are open to your level of experience with manufacturing test management, as we will provide the needed training and onboarding, as well as, believing that there can be several ways to perform effectively in the role.
We imagine that you have:
- A higher educational background within electrical engineering or similar other relevant fields of study
- Some years of experience within PCBA test, schematics, layout or alternatively you are interested in pursuing a career within this field
- Experience with programming in C#, TestStand or LabVIEW
- Well-developed analytical and logical abilities
- The ability to manage several projects consecutively
- The ability to communicate fluently in English in speech and in writing

It is anticipated that project activities may necessitate some travel, approximately. 5-15 days per year, which of course can be planned ahead of time
