Senior Project Manager for renewable energy projects in Estonia

Your new team
You will become the core member of our Estonian Project Development team, which handles the planning and development of our projects across the entire country. We are part of a broader Baltics team and across all three countries we are 32 colleagues located in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.

Your new role
As our new Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing our business activities with the focus on developing and handling wind, solar (PV) and power storage projects in Estonia. You will participate in projects from the idea stage to the completion of construction, including leading the project development phase, making this role an exciting opportunity for personal growth.

Your focus will be managing our projects in our projects pipeline in various stages, to ensure that we are well coordinated and on top of all the issues relevant to the development, financing and construction of renewable assets. You will participate in market and project development and elaborate stakeholder overviews. You will liaise with local authorities and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle in close cooperation with other Baltic region offices and headquarters.

Areas of responsibility

  • Represent European Energy in Estonia
  • Project management and administration with the regional team and HQ
  • Support evaluating new greenfield, brownfield and RTB wind and PV projects and project management and administration
  • Manage and follow development process, preparing and submitting project applications and documentation to relevant authorities and maintaining dialogue with key stakeholders
  • Participate in market and project development and develop stakeholder overview and connections
  • Liaison with local suppliers throughout project lifecycle in close cooperation with HQ

Your profile
You hold a relevant university or other engineering / technical degree. In addition, you have

  • Significant experience from either renewable energy development, construction project development, or perhaps from the public administration side within planning or energy
  • Legal/regulatory experience with development projects
  • Good communication skills in both Estonian and English
  • A valid driving license

Your software skills probably include Microsoft Project and AutoCAD or equivalent tools, as well as MS Office.
