Vice President, Head of Commercial Asset Management

We are looking for a Vice President, Head of Commercial Asset Management to join the senior leadership team of our Global Asset Management & Operations area. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead a high-performing department that will be integral to our business growth, with currently 3,4GW renewable assets under management across 12 countries.

You will be working closely with our executive leadership team and across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and the alignment of our strategic goals with our customers' needs.

This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen and excellent people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily leading the the global commercial asset management team providing vision, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective asset management practices
• Monitor and evaluate the financial and operational performance of renewable assets, analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize asset performance
• Continuously develop the department to be capable of the continuous growth of the portfolio of assets under management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and optimize operational processes
• Mentor, guide, and motivate employees to cultivate professional growth and ensure the success of each team member
• Establish a result-driven culture focused on client satisfaction and retention while continuously enhancing the team’s capabilities and expertise
• Play a visible leadership role across Asset Management, Operations, and the company, based on collaborative leadership traits

Professional Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in the renewable energy, energy, or related sectors
• Proven track record of leading, and developing high-performing teams
• Visionary leadership style that can set direction and motivate employees to build an environment that fosters both psychological safety and performance
• An inclusive leadership style to ensure that we create a positive atmosphere for teams to thrive in
• Ability to operate in a global environment, working with diverse teams and stakeholders across geographies and cultures
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Strong financial- and business understanding
