Are you an experienced and skilled Claims Manager with a strong background in Marine Hull & Machinery (H&M) claims? Do you have a good grasp of the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan and the ability to stay composed and effective under pressure?

Are you also a team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team. TORM is currently looking for a dedicated colleague with 10+ years of marine insurance experience to join our Insurance team in Copenhagen.

Your Role
You will be part of a highly experienced team with three members based at our headquarters in Hellerup, one in our Manila office and two in the Mumbai office. As part of the Insurance team, you will have a clear set of roles and responsibilities which include:

• Handle Hull & Machinery (H&M) insurance claims from first notification to final resolution.
• Advise internal stakeholders on insurance matters under the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan.
• Liaise with H&M underwriters and brokers to ensure smooth and transparent claims handling.
• Participate in emergency response meetings and simulation drills, advising on insurance implications.
• Contribute to claims prevention and insurance process improvements.
• Participate in the insurance duty rotation, managing urgent claims matters as they arise.
• Other ad hoc duties and projects as required.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience handling marine Hull & Machinery (H&M) insurance claims; familiarity with the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan is a plus.
• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills, especially in demanding situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex matters clearly.
• Proven stakeholder and relationship management capabilities.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and focused on practical, effective solutions.
• Proactive, resourceful and results-oriented approach to work.
• Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Law, Marine Technical, Risk Management or Insurance.
