We're on a mission to become the best everyday bank in the Nordics – and we're looking for a Head of People Operations to be a part of this journey. If you're tech-savvy, system-smart, and obsessed with simplifying the employee experience, you might be just the person we need. You'll make sure our systems run smoothly in the background, so we can focus on those interactions that only a human can do.

As our new colleague, you’ll join the P&C leadership team and report directly to our Chief People & Culture Officer, Sarah Wahlstrøm. You'll lead the People Operations area and the team driving it forward. At Lunar, P&C covers everything from people partnering and development to talent, culture, and engagement — so one thing’s for sure: it won’t be dull.

What will you be doing?

• Design and enhance people processes with automation, AI, and simplicity in mind. (This isn’t just part of the job, it’s something you loooove doing)

• Own and optimize HRIS and P&C systems — setup, maintenance, and scaling. Yes, we do value scalability.
• Utilize systems thinking to make every employee touchpoint seamless, intuitive, and frictionless.
• Map and improve the entire employee journey with a strong user-first mindset.
• Collaborate with Tech, Accounting, and P&C to align systems and data flows.
• Ensure smooth, invisible operations — freeing us to focus on the human aspects that matter most. We don't want to be behind a wall of “you can’t talk to us”.

Ensure compliance by integrating regulations into our processes, take the lead on HR documents, stay informed on local labor laws across the Nordics, and support CBA-related matters when needed.

• You’ve held a similar role — ideally for 5+ years, but if you’ve nailed it in 3 and delivered real impact, don’t let the number stop you.
• You’ve led a team (doesn’t have to be a big one) and know how to balance leadership with hands-on execution.
• You have strong data instincts, and you know how to use them.
• Self-learner who is passionate and curious about HR tech.
• You’re a true doer who loves rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, while also being a solid team player.
• You have experience with the basics of HR and know your way around core people processes. You are comfortable diving into the compliance and risk management of our people processes.
