Senior Backend Developer for BIM Services

Your new role
You will be a part of a central team that maintains services and components used by product teams in the organization. We are working in a critical and mature highly performant software system, so you must be motivated by large codebases with gnarly requirements and edge-cases.

As an experienced backend developer, you will take responsibility for tasks of medium to high complexity, actively contributing to our software architecture as well as cross-team collaboration. Depending on your experiences and interests, you will build new features, prototype experiments to help us learn, improve reliability or increase our platform’s capabilities. We expect your seniority, experience and passion for engineering to help drive our high-performing team to even greater excellence.

• Own your tasks from beginning to end, including discovery, design, implementation, and testing

Our tech
Our distributed systems are built with .NET core, MSSQL, Lucene, and the code base is C#. The primary focus is the development of our BIM Services, comprised of various ASP.NET Core web service applications hosted on AWS.

The team handles operational responsibility along with development. Preparing, testing, and shipping releases is part of the daily work. As is, monitoring the solutions and tuning performance to handle terabytes of data and thousands of requests per second.

Your background
We believe you...

• Have strong experience with C# and .NET Core

• Have practical experience with .NET webservices and backend development

• Experience with MSSQL, and relational modeling,

• Interest in query optimization, execution plans, index and data model design

• Possess a solid theoretical foundation from a degree in computer science, engineering, IT or similar.

• Worked with legacy code and is not scared by it

• Are proactive, solution-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

It’s important you have an ambitious attitude towards your continuous learning and development, and the wish to actively participate in the development of our products.

We aim to offer new features and an improved product continuously, and in order to meet this goal, the development is characterized by agile methodologies and loosely defined time estimates, with regular releases of our various services.
